Making the Connection
Linking Penn Station with Grand Central could produce a truly world
class regional rail system for the NY-NJ-CT metropolitan area. IRUM
sponsored an exhibit describing how this could be accomplished. The
exhibit was first shown at the Main Gallery of the Urban Center in
cooperation with the Municipal Art Society in September 2006. The
exhibit was later shown at the NJ Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ,
the lobby of the Conde Nast Building in Times Square, and the Stamford
Government Center in Connecticut.
